This tutorial teaches best practices for using dynamic caching (dynacache) to improve the performance of WebSphere® Commerce V5.6.

Prerequisites
You will need WebSphere Commerce Business Edition 5.6.0.4 running on WebSphere Application Server 5.0.2.10, 5.1.1.3, or later. You will also need a published ConsumerDirect store before you start the tutorial.
This tutorial is intended for WebSphere Commerce developers who are already familiar with the concepts covered in
Caching WebSphere Commerce pages with the WebSphere Application Server dynamic cache service.
System requirements
This tutorial used Windows® 2000 as the operating system. Other supported operating systems like AIX® will also work.
