This article shows you how to implement data federation using WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker (WebSphere BI MB) with WebSphere Information Integrator (WebSphere II) or WebSphere Information Integrator Classic Federation (WebSphere II CF).

This article describes two data federation scenarios:

  • WebSphere BI MB and WebSphere II / WebSphere II CF (where II communicates with II CF)
  • WebSphere BI MB connecting directly to WebSphere II CF
