This article series explores the new tooling features of WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker by providing the information you to need develop a Web Order Processing sample. This article, Part 1, illustrates how to use the Message Broker to integrate applications running on backend systems. Part 2 describes a message set and the tools that create and build the messages used in the Web Order sample.

Description

This article series provides the information you need to build, deploy, debug, and run a Web Order Processing Application sample using the new tooling features of WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker V5. This article illustrates how WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker is used to integrate applications running on backend systems. The article discusses message flow concepts, provides a description of the flows and sub flows used in creating this application, and then describes the main Web order processing flow and the message processing nodes used in building this flow. Part 2 describes the concept of a message set and the tools used for creating and building the messages used in the Web Order sample.
