System requirements
Hardware requirements: The hardware requirements for these samples are the same as for WebSphere Application Server Version 6.1.
Software requirements: The software requirement for the WS-RF Sample is WebSphere Application Server Version or 6.1.
Supported operating systems: These samples run on all operating systems that are supported by WebSphere Application Server Version 6.1. They have been tested on the Microsoft Windows® platform only.
Description
The Web Service Resource Framework (WS-RF) sample for WebSphere Application Server demonstrates the use of WS-Resources as described in the Oasis Web Services Resource Framework specifications and supported in WebSphere Application Server version 6.1
This sample illustrates how to create WS-Resources using the appropriate WebSphere API and how to then exploit these resources as part of subsequent Web Service requests.
Installation instructions
To install the WS-RF Sample, download the ZIP file and extract the contents to a temporary directory. Unzip the WSRF_sample.zip into a WebSphere profile directory (for example, C:\WebSphere\AppServer\profile\default). After unarchiving the WSRF Sample, open the WSRF_Install.doc and WSRF_Overview.doc files. This gives instructions on how to install, configure, build, and run these samples.
