Business Workload Manager Prototype
A technology that provides the basis for instrumentation of applications in support of autonomic management. Demo also available.
IBM Autonomic Task Manager for Administrators
A spreadsheet-based scripting environment for administrators.
IBM Enterprise Workload Manager SDK
The IBM® Software Development Kit (SDK) for IBM Enterprise Workload Manager for Multiplatforms (EWLM) is a tool to aid in the development and test of Application Response Measurement (ARM) 4.0-level instrumentation in applications and middleware, and the development and test of EWLM ARM Adapter library implementations.
IBM Touchpoint Simulator
The Autonomic Computing team has defined an architecture for connecting computing resources with management applications through standard interfaces. In this architecture, an autonomic manager communicates with one or more resources (servers, databases, etc.) through touchpoints. A touchpoint is a thin layer of code that translates between the standard interfaces and product-specific commands. The major hurdle in building an autonomic manager is that developers need resources (and touchpoints) with which to test it, and creating such a system can be a big project in itself. The IBM Touchpoint Simulator solves this problem, simplifying the development of autonomic systems by emulating a managed resource.
Policy Management for Autonomic Computing
Policy Management for Autonomic Computing (PMAC) is an infrastructure that uses policy-based management to simplify the management and automation of products and complex systems. This infrastructure, which application deployers can embed within their software applications, includes an autonomic manager, a component for policy storage, user libraries, and application programming interfaces (APIs).
Resource Model Builder Debugger for UNIX
Resource Model Builder Debugger for UNIX allows graphical debugging of the JavaScript decision tree in IBM Tivoli Monitoring (ITM) resource models on Linux and UNIX. This tool provides full debugging capabilities, such as setting break points and inspecting the value of a variable. It uses the graphical debugger supplied by the Rhino JavaScript interpreter shipped with ITM.
Scripting Tools for SAN Volume Controller
An interface and scripting tools using Perl for automating tasks in SAN Volume Controller.
IBM Grid Toolbox
The IBM Grid Toolbox V3 for Multiplatforms is a comprehensive, integrated toolkit for creating and hosting grid services. This product includes material developed by the Globus Alliance (http://www.globus.org/), as well as a set of APIs and development tools to create and deploy new grid services and grid applications.
