19 Sep 2006 In this tutorial, Part 1 of a series, you will learn about the relationship between a set of tools in the IBM® Rational® Software Development Platform that you will use as you design an SOA-based service using Model-Driven Development (MDD). You’ll see how to access requirements from different sources, use a customized software development process, and then start to model a design for the required service. Tools used include IBM Rational Software Architect, IBM Rational Software Modeler, IBM WebShpere® Business Modeler, IBM Rational RequisitePro® and the IBM Rational Unified Process® (RUP®) methodology.

To get better value out of this tutorial, it is recommended but not necessary to be familiar with:
