04/30/08: Fixpack 3.0.0.3 available. Go to the Fix Support section of the Support tab and click on Fix Central. (You might also want to take a look at the updated reference documents "Monte Carlo Library API Reference," "Basic Linear Algebra Subprograms Programmer's Guide and API Reference," and "LAPACK - Linear Algebra Package Library Programmer's Guide and API Reference.")

04/18/08: Cell Resource Center offers a new Support tab. Find hardware and software service flashes, support communication, fix announcements, product updates, and other important messages.

04/02/08: Weigh in on future SDK development! IBM is soliciting feedback on your experience with the SDK for Multicore Acceleration and Cell Broadband Engine BladeServers to plan for future releases. To send IBM feedback, please access the online survey.

10/19/07: SDK 3.0 is here! The SDK is now generally available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux® (RHEL) Version 5.1. Developer versions can be downloaded for both RHEL5.1 and Fedora 7. The current Version 2.1 of the Cell/B.E. Software Development Toolkit on alphaWorks will be removed on 11/19/07.

08/29/07: Today IBM announced the IBM Software Development Kit (SDK) for Multicore Acceleration Version 3.0. The SDK provides everything you need to develop and deploy applications for Cell/B.E. hardware. The applications can be developed on a variety of platforms including x86, x86_64, PowerPC, and Cell/B.E. hardware. See more details on the announcement of the SDK and IBM BladeCenter QS21.
