 | Level: Introductory Tim Feeney (tfeeney@us.ibm.com), TechWorks Practice Lead,
IBM
10 Jan 2008 This demonstration illustrates how Rational® Build Forge® and ClearQuest® can be used to automate the build and deployment tracking of your applications. This is the second in a series of three demos. The first demo showed how applications can be developed, built, and tested in the developer's IDE using Rational Application Developer and the Eclipse plug-ins provided by Rational ClearCase®, ClearQuest, and Build Forge. In this demo, Rational Build Forge is used to build the application while tracking the results of the build in ClearQuest and then using ClearQuest to request a deployment of the application. In the next demo, the results of the build will be deployed to the application server using Rational Build Forge and Tivoli® Provisioning Manager.
