IBM certifies that the latest release of the IBM Developer Kit for Linux(R),
Java(TM) 2 Technology Edition is Java compatible on the GA-level
default installations of the following leading Linux distributors.
Notes about these tables
"YES" indicates that the Developer Kit has been fully tested on a GA-level default installation of that particular distribution.
Support for certain languages may require additional packages or a different
configuration from the GA-level default installation. If this is the case,
the Developer Kit may not have been fully tested for that language on that
particular distribution. Contact your Linux distributor's local support
organization for more information.
IBM Java SDK 1.3 runs as a 32-bit application on all platforms except for
zSeries, where it runs as a 31-bit application. The address space designation
in the column headers refers to the hardware address capability of the systems
for which the Linux distribution and the IBM Java SDK were tested.
