IBM Development Package for Apache Harmony

The IBM Development Package for Apache Harmony is an execution environment designed to run code contributed to the Apache Harmony project. The execution environment includes a virtual machine, just in time compiler, memory manager, and supporting functionality. There are versions available for Windows 32-bit and Linux 32-bit on Intel (xSeries) architecture.

Before you can download code, you will need an IBM Registration ID. You can read about IBM Registration here.

Download

Download the package now free of charge from:

Note: The download is not a stand-alone application. It must be combined with additional code available from the Apache Harmony project. Instructions for doing this are contained in the download.

Support

The development package for Apache Harmony is an unsupported offering from IBM. The Harmony project is an effort undergoing incubation at the Apache Software Foundation (ASF). Due to the dynamic nature of the Apache Harmony project, IBM cannot guarantee that the execution environment will be kept current with the latest version of the Apache code. New versions of the development package will be made available on a 'best effort' basis.

The IBM Development Package for Apache Harmony is complementary to, but not part of, the Apache Harmony Project. Read the license. The ASF does not endorse this development kit.
