The size and numbers of databases continues to grow. With DB2 DB2 UDB V8.1, tools for automation and scheduling make the administrative job much easier. This article focuses on the Task Center, which enables you to create,edit, and debug tasks; the Task Journal; the ability to run tasks in parallel and in groupings; tips for managing tasks; and possible configurations.
