The goal of the Integrated Solutions Console is to create a platform on which IBM and non-IBM products can build administrative user interfaces. Standardizing products to run on the Integrated Solutions Console platform gives them a more common look and feel and a more consistent behavior, because you are using common building blocks.

If you want to develop additional Integrated Solutions Console plug-ins, then you must have Rational Application Developer V6.0.0.2 installed. The above software is not required if you just want to operate the Solution Installation and Deployment Samples Scenario.
All OS/400 bundles require PTFs SF99269 and MF34019 to be installed prior to installing any of the Toolkit bundles. You can download PTFs from the support site, Fix Central.

The Integrated Solutions Console is provided in two bundles to accommodate different levels of users. The first is a basic installation with preselected defaults and quicker installation (recommended), while the second bundle provides advanced installation options for more sophisticated users.
